Home to the most famous commissioner in Italy, Punta Secca welcomes you with its simplicity. Uncontaminated beaches, crystal-clear sea, a lighthouse and of course, Montalbano’s terrace!

Are you a fan of Commissioner Montalbano? Then we bet it's one of the first places you'll want to visit in the province! And if you are not, go there anyway, you’ll see what little paradise awaits you!

We’re talking about Punta Secca, a seaside village in the municipality of Santa Croce Camerina, but for the Rai1 television audience, home to the most famous commissioner in Italy. Its symbol is the lighthouse, dating back to the second half of the nineteenth century, which was used to guide sailors – even today it is visible in the coastal area between Gela and Cava d'Aliga. Its uncontaminated beaches are beautiful, its crystal-clear sea is inviting, and the cliffs that emerge in some stretches of water giving the village its name 'a sicca, are characteristic.

The air is healthy, the atmosphere is lovely – you’ll love it!

Obviously don’t forget to take a picture in front of the terrace Montalbano looks out from right on the beach: it is one of the most beautiful and appreciated spots.
